Clean drinking water for all
People in low-resource communities around the world lack access to safe drinking water. It’s estimated that every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease. To gain awareness and help combat the problem, we partnered with Mountain Safety Research to crowdfund a new product. The Se200: an ingenious device that allows communities to make their own chlorine with salt, water, and a car battery. Just one device can provide sustainable water treatment for a community of up to 200 people for 5 or more years.
To raise money and awareness, we developed a social and email campaign that drove people to our Indiegogo page where they could donate money to help ship the Se200 to communities in need. In addition to digital tactics, we deployed an interactive vending machine at the SIC conference to increase education and engagement. Our efforts exceeded the client fundraising goal, and most importantly, saved lives.
